About Christopher

Adversity! Perseverance! Dedication! Christopher Ryan Murry has lived his life looking to achieve the ultimate success-to not only make a mark, but rise too the top of the Los Angeles sports talk radio and journalist market. A passion for sports is an understatement, an obsession is more correctly worded. As a child this obsession became clear; a love for the game quickly influenced his dreams and aspirations. The love expanded during a summer vacation in 2000 when on this particular summer he, along with his mother, traveled the country taking in baseball stadiums. Going everywhere from Kaufman Stadium in Kansas City to the old Yankee Stadium in New York to Fenway Park, and Camden Yards. It’s led to a lifestyle of traveling to sporting events; most recently Soldier Field (Bears/Panthers 2012) and Wrigley Field (Angels/Cubs 2013). Today Chris is in his third year at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, CA as a Dean's List Radio Broadcasting major. Heavily involved with the radio stations on campus (Audio8ball-Internet and Mt. Rock Radio-FM), he has done Sports Updates on a number of shows from morning shows to evening news shows-earning a 2013 IBS Finalist national award nomination (of the five finalists, Chris was the only one on the entire west coast). He currently hosts an hourly sports talk show, Mondays and Thursdays, called “Full Court Press” on www.audio8ball.com. His most recent venture with SportSpeakRADIO has put his name into the LA/OC market and has become a major player in his development. For Chris the days are long and the sleep is slim, but the dream isn’t over. In fact, his motto has become “sleep in overrated” and with this attitude he has built a characteristic as being one of most hard working students around the RTV Program at school as well in his daily life. He currently lives in Pomona, Ca and can be contacted via Twitter @ChrisRyanMurry or on Facebook simply look up Christopher Ryan Murry.
